Lori Maloney – Executive Vice President

As the Executive Vice President of JANUS Solutions I think I’ve been able to bring a special combination of skills and professional experiences to bear that have helped our organization stay focused on its mission and vision and contributed to its overall depth and expertise in a variety of areas. Professionally speaking, I like wearing a lot of different hats. I’m particularly proud of my ability over the years to facilitate communications with policy makers at the federal, state, county and local levels around critical social policy issues. I also like helping the media connect with resources and experts to assist them in their understanding and accurate reporting of issues critical to JANUS and the people we serve. From a career perspective, however, I am most proud of my involvement in a series of informal policy roundtables at the White House during the Clinton Administration that focused on Federal child welfare policy. I think developing appropriate, effective and workable policies around this issue remains one of the greatest challenges facing this state today. I credit my grandmother with my love of the work I do. She instilled in me her compassion for people, a strong work ethic, and a sense of responsibility to the communities and people we at JANUS Solutions serve.
